Mr Allan Guim Dumbong is an emerging leader in the field of trade, environment safety and health. Apart from his training in political science and business administration, he is also a trained Environment, Safety and Health Officer. He has attended numerous courses on environmental, safety and health management.

He is a registered Environmental Officer (EO) with the Environment Protection Department, Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Sabah since February 2007. He is also a registered Subject Consultant with the Department of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Malaysia specializing in Social Impact Assessment (SIA) since February 2008.

He has also attended the Safety and Health Officer (SHO) Certificate Program by the National Insitute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Malaysia, and has passed all the three (3) papers required by NIOSH to become a full-pledged Safety & Health Officer.

Currently, he is attached to a reputable state-owned enterprise that is involved in the Sabah Development Corridor (SDC) programs. He is specifically assigned with the responsibility of ensuring a clean, safe and healthy work place.

Mr Allan is a strong advocate for clean and protected environment as well as safe and healthy lifestyle. He is currently leading a group to set up an association of competent environment, safety and health (ESH) practitioners in Sabah.
