THE MEANING OF THE WORD "GUN" IN KADAZANDUSUN

Many times our fellow Kadazandusuns talk about the prefix "Gun" in their daily conversations. Examples are, "Gundohing", "Gunsingot", "Guntarok" etc. Well, there are actually meanings for each of the word "Gun". The prefix basically means "The Most", for better or worse. Pls see below:

GUNDOHING - The "most" respected community leaders.
GUNTAROK - The "most" naughty (or always courting trouble) in the community.
GUNSOBU - The one who always piss..in his sleep.
GUNTALOU - The most coward in the community
GUNSIOU - The bravest in the community. Sometimes, it refers to "Huguan Siou".
GUNTAKAU - The one who always steal, "panjang tangan" kad Malayu.
GUNSINGOT - Yang paling "luki" lah!
GUNRONGOT - The most untidy person.
GUNTALIB - The person who always pass by in the neighbourhood.
GUNTABID - The person who always mix/mingle around or minding other peoples' businesses. Also refering to a kid who always keen to join the elders in their daily activities, like hunting trips or mitatanang to mend their farms).

GUNSABU - Womaniser
